Description |
||||
This is a wide-field image of a region in Monoceros the unicorn including the Cone nebula. It also shows several other interesting objects including: the Foxfur Nebula, Hubble's Variable Nebula, and several star clusters. To see a closeup image of the Cone click here. Processing Notes: We first combined the 5.25 hours of Ha data into a single image, then processed the RGB data as usual. and then layered the Ha under the RGB with a 75% Ha and 75% RGB mixture using a "normal" blend mode in Photoshop CS. |
