Description

This is an image of the Arp 229 galaxy group.  This galaxy group consists of NGC507 and NGC508 as well as several other galaxies.  It lies about 250 million light years away in the constellation Pisces.  NGC508 is the large galaxy above the bright star in the image and there is some evidence that this may be a ring galaxy.  It is categorized as Elliptical though.

Some additional material about this group of galaxies can be found here.  I've used Aladin to identify many of the galaxies in this group and a diagram showing all of this can be found here.
