Description |
||||
A starburst galaxy in Columba, NGC 1808, is about 40 million light-years distant. Starburst activity, as well as the warping of the outer spiral arms, has been credited to tidal interaction with nearby galaxy NGC 1792. The data from NGC 1808 was recently reprocessed in a collaboration between Warren Keller and Steve Mazlin. |
