This version of the Helix was accomplished by using the Ha and OIII data only, a la Steve Cannistra's modified bicolor technique, wherein the green channel is synthesized from the Red (Ha) and Blue (OIII) channels. Some of the brighter stars were overlayed with RGB data. |
