Description |
||||
NGC 7380 is an immense cloud of Hydrogen gas and dust located within our Milky way galaxy. It is about 7000 light years away. Radiation from nearby hot young stars are eroding the gas into the craggy shapes shown here. From the cup shape of the nebula, the radiation doing the damage is coming from the upper left. It's a big image - it will need a couple of clicks for full resolution. |
