This image represents the combination of Mazlin's LRGB data from Pennsylvania (12 hours with a 12.5" RC) and SSRO's Ha data from New Mexico (18 hours with a 16" RC), plus a majority of data that Harvey and Mazlin and Vicent Peris helped to acquire from Calar Alto Observatory in Spain (1.23M scope -- 3 hours Ha and 3 hours OIII data; 3.5M scope -- 12 minutes/channel BVR). The additional credits from Calar Alto as are follows: Juan Fabregat (OAUV), Vicent Peris (OAUV), Gilles Bergond (CAHA), DSA, RECTA, CAHA. Our older M57 image can be found here. |
