This is a barred spiral galaxy in Andromeda. It lies just southwest of the Blue Snowball nebula. The distance to this galaxy is around 25 million light years and it is potentially a part of the Perseus supercluster of galaxies. It is a seldom imaged galaxy and likely has had interactions with other galaxies. |
