Description |
||||
NGC 7184 is a spiral galaxy 114 million light years distant in Aquarius. This distance accounts for some of the lack of resolution of dust lanes and core in images. The morphology of this galaxy is not unlike the more commonly known NGC 4274 as pointed out by Adam Block, whose image of NGC 7184 made the Best of the AOP. The literature references a supernova occurance in 1984, but otherwise has few citations for this infrequently imaged but majestic galaxy. |
